Laundry Drop a service of The Laundry Coin
For Parents · Eugene, Oregon

Their Laundry, Handled for the Whole Term.

One payment covers the whole term. We pick up every Sunday and bring it back every Thursday, the same way, all ten weeks.

Laundry Drop is run by The Laundry Coin, our own laundromat in Cottage Grove. Our employees do the pickup, the washing and the delivery. Nothing is handed to a contractor.

Who Handles Their Clothes

Trained Employees

Our own staff, on our payroll, trained by us in our building.

Background Checked

Everyone who touches a pickup route is background checked before their first shift.

No Gig Workers

No app drivers, no subcontractors, no strangers collecting the bag from the doorstep.

One building, start to finish. The bag is picked up by our driver, washed and folded in our laundromat, and delivered by our driver. It never changes hands outside the company.

How the Week Works

Sunday, 10 AM – 1 PM
The Bag Goes Out

They set the full bag out, hand it to the driver, or ask us to knock first. They choose at signup.

Monday to Wednesday
We Wash and Fold

Washed warm, dried standard, folded. Detergent and softener preferences are on file from signup.

Thursday, 5 – 8 PM
It Comes Back

Same spot, folded, in the second bag. The first bag is already filling up again.

Two dates shift during the term: Thanksgiving week comes back Wednesday, November 25, and the November 29 pickup window moves to 4 – 7 PM for everyone driving back. The full term schedule lists every week.

Questions Parents Ask

Can I Pay and Have Them Sign Up?

Yes. Fill the form out yourself with their address and phone number. The form asks for a parent or guardian name, phone and email as well, so we know who to reach if we can't reach them.

Is There a Limit to How Much Goes in the Bag?

Fill it as full as it’ll close. There’s no weight limit and no per-pound charge — if they’ve got more than fits, it goes as an extra load. Terms of Service §2 and §5.

What About Allergies?

The signup form has a section for allergies and sensitivities, and it's the only place we look. Write it down there and it goes on the file. Fragrance-free and hypoallergenic detergent are both options.

Will Anything Be Left Sitting Outside?

Only if that's what they pick. The three handling choices are leave it at the door, hand it to the driver, or knock first. Doorstep pickups and deliveries get a photo text.

What If Something Is Damaged or Missing?

Tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we investigate. Our responsibility is the lesser of the item's actual cash value or $125 per item, up to $250 per bag.

Can We Cancel?

Any time through week 8. We refund the unused weeks at $59.50 each less a $50 cancellation fee, plus any unused Midweek washes and break weeks. The bags stay theirs.

Where Does the Service Reach?

Addresses within about a mile and a half of campus. It’s a radius rather than a city, so send us the address before you pay and we’ll confirm it. If they move mid-term, get in touch — still inside the area and we just move the spot; outside it we cancel and refund unused cycles less the $50 fee. Terms of Service §19.

What Don't You Wash?

No dry-clean-only items, shoes, memory foam, or anything hazardous. Anything we can't wash comes back unwashed at no charge, with a photo text explaining why.
